The True Story of The Three Little Pigs performed with The Stinky Cheese Man Grades: K-6
Tours: Feb-June
Themes: Point of view, critical thinking, ingenuity, humor
Events: Spring, National Cheese Fondue Day
In this Book-It All Over production two classic fairy tales are fractured before your eyes in Jon Scieszka’s unique style. The story of the three little pigs is told by one Alexander T. Wolf as he sits in the pig penitentiary doing time for a crime he insists he didn’t do. A huff and a puff turn into a giant sneeze and the three pigs transform into a free ham dinner all in pursuit of an innocent cup of sugar. This zany story will be told in tandem with The Stinky Cheese Man, the irreverent tale of a lonely old couple and their creation of a companion made from cheese. This story takes us on a ride into an uninviting world that will be sure to have children laughing in seconds.
