Box Office Representative

Book-It Repertory Theatre seeks box office representatives for seasonal, part-time schedule.

Position open immediately.
Schedule: 20-25 hours/wk — afternoons, evenings and weekends during run of productions. Flexible occasional weekday afternoons when not in production.
Duties include: phone, mail and walk-up sales of subscriptions and single tickets; preparation and distribution of tickets before curtain; customer service; subscriber ticket exchanges; ticket mailings, and other clerical tasks as needed by the department. The Book-It box office uses WinTix event ticketing software.

The qualified applicant will possess the following characteristics:
* Enjoys working with the public
* Patient, with strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Detail oriented & efficient
* Box office or ticketing experience a plus
* Experience handling money
* A patient sense of humor!

Pay is $9.00 an hour.
